collaboration / Geometry of Folds

I.c.w Siri Sandersen (NO), Karin Pettersen (NO), Jessica Baas (SE) and Regine Osbakk (NO)

The group is a working collective, and Osbakk participated in the groups exhibitions in 2018. The exhibitions are results of collective processes, with both individual and collective works.

It is talk of a "geological turn", an increased insight and interest in a geological understanding of time and that the idea of mankind's impact on the earth has given rise to a new geological era; the Anthropocene. The philosophical direction "dark ecology" distances itself from established concepts of what nature is and explore what it actually is; reckless and chaotic, where mankind does not have a special position in the ecosystem. Through the project, the group points towards geology and mankind's imprint on the earth in relation to graphic in the expanded field.
